Attitude of high consciousness when dealing with important security products.

Among various difficult-to-product die cast products and automobile parts, we think the most critical are those parts with important safety features which require heat resistance, abrasion resistance and strength. In other words, our products are used in automobile manufacturing. Hence, we even never know the end users of the cars. The end user might be a young man who tries to impress his lover. If the parts on a car are easily damaged, it would cause serious accident. Hence we have to ensure the product quality.

The car might seem to be an object or product to most of us. However, we are not qualified for this work if we can't imagine the joy of driving a car which uses our products.

Each of every employee is sharing the same responsibility as I do. Products with important safety features account to 70% of our total sales. It means that our products are of high reliability. Hence we are proud of it.

Never think only of ending with better aesthetics, higher strength and precision products

With the technology advancement, products such as automobile, audio-visual appliance, computer, mobile phone etc become smaller in size and lighter in weight. Remarkable examples are note books and mobile phones in which what claimed to be the smallest and lightest during launching will soon become less impressive with the launching of latest models. However, our die cast products are capable to outperform even in this competitive global environment, yet we just feel that it is hard to find any end user who really recognizes it.

When products become smaller, lighter and thinner, at the same time, the requirements for internal parts used become stringent in order to achieve lighter weight, thinner thickness and smaller size as well. Hence, we will enjoy great joy if we are able to overcome great difficulties to achieve such needs.

Take an example, the challenge of producing a hollow yet light and strong die cast. With reference to this, the PF die cast new technology was developed. The products produced show lesser internal defects and resistant to heat treatment. When the requirement becomes more and more stringent, in par with our motto of "Let us try our best and see how it goes", the cooperation among us becomes stronger and the spirit to face the challenge grows higher. Thus, sometimes it is possible to succeed. On the making of die cast products, our priority is strength and high precision besides aesthetics. It seems that our ambition is never ending. We are looking forward to facing any new requirements as we see them as delightful anxiety.

Feelings after Obtaining ISO Certification

During a morning meeting about two years ago, an announcement which sounded "Today, let us implement the ISO kick-off campaign" was made. We had no idea about what ISO is and what are were going to do. The word environment was often mentioned by our President and the management during that meeting. Hence, we sensed that our company was going to start something which is concerned with the environment.

Even after the announcement, we didn't bother much as we thought it only concerned officers in the top management. However, soon after the implementation, we felt it was a troublesome work as we needed to segregate our waste and dumping sites was necessary to be decided.

Then, a copy of "Environment Handout" was distributed. Its contents included company environment policy and hand-written environmental targets of workplace as well as personal environmental targets. Environmental target stickers were placed all over the workplace. Subsequently, we started to think how should we play our roles in personal environmental targets.

When we started to recall, we felt that we hardly showed any concerns to the environment. We simply threw anything whenever we like, such as throwing of cigarette buds out from the car, filling up the dust bins with papers, empty cans and PET bottle.
After listening to various environment-concerned speeches from supervisors in the workplace and the taking the influence from the "You should do this at this occasion" stickers all over the workplace, we started to feel the importance of what we have done. However, I faced difficulty when setting personal targets. Finally, I decided to put waste segregation as my target. I opted to stick to my target not only at workplace but also at home, and even when going for outings.
